REPORT ON MASS AWARENESS PROGRAMME

TOPIC: ANXIETY AND DEPRESSION

A Mass awareness program was conducted by 1^st year MSc. Nursing (Mental Health Nursing) and 3^rd year BSc Nursing students on the topic “Anxiety and Depression” on the occasion of Anxiety and Depression awareness week at Panchayat Bhawan, Radang on 13^th May, 2022 (Friday). The mass awareness program was conducted under the guidance of Officiating Principal Prof. Champa Sharma, Mrs Prerna Karki, Associate Professor and Mrs. Shrijana Pradhan, Assistant Professor.

The program started with the felicitation of chief guest Mrs. Pabi Rai, Panchayat Radong and RDA Mr. D.K Rai. Ms. Dil Kumari Chettri, 1^st year MSc. Nursing student introduced the topic anxiety informing the audience regarding the signs and symptoms followed by performance of skit by 3^rd year BSc Nursing students. Health talk was given by Ms. Kumari Anzana Bhattarai on Depression. A quiz round was also organized for the audience and small token of appreciation was given to the audience who answered correctly.

The program ended with a speech by Officiating Principal Prof. Champa Sharma, SMCON, on awareness on Mental Health and motivational song from 3^rd year BSc Nursing students.
