The admission criteria and process indicated in the Prospectus 2013 for MBBS course are applicable only when Sikkim Manipal University conducts the entrance examination.
The criteria and process may change if the Medical Council of India conducts the proposed All India Medical Entrance Examination for the academic year 2013-14 and Sikkim Manipal University has to follow the guidelines/directions of MCI.

Candidates seeking Admission in B.Tech at SMIT may apply in three ways viz. through AIEEE All India Rank, SMIT offline test (Application Form in-built in SMU Prospectus to be sent to Chairman Admission, SMIT, Majitar, Rangpo, East Sikkim - 737136 refer www.smu.edu.in) and All India Examination conducted by Manipal University (MU-OET 2013) for which candidate may visit www.admissions.manipal.edu.
