Working as Consultant Grade1(Pathology) in S.T.N.M. Hospital, Gangtok. This is the referral hospital of the State of Sikkim. Heading the Department of Pathology. In charge of the Integrated Counseling and Testing Centers for HIV in the State of Sikkim. In Charge of State HIV Sentinel Surveillance since 1998 . Responsible for the State Reference laboratory for HIV Testing in the state. This includes conducting training, Surveys and providing diagnostic services. Responsible for the External quality Assurance Programme (EQUAS) in the State. Resource person in all trainings involving Doctors, Nurses NGOs, Counselors, laboratory technicians. Active participation in advocacy meets. 1993-2008
Worked as a senior specialist in the Department of Pathology at S.T.N.M. Hospital, Gangtok after Post-graduation. Head of Department, Pathology Undertook training of laboratory Technicians and establishment of laboratories in all the Primary Health centers of the state.
